LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) - The Livingston County Sheriff's Department is warning residents about a fake driveway seal coating company.
Earlier this month, a woman in Putnam Township says a man who goes by the name of Jimmy Carroll offered to seal her driveway for $9,400. He was accompanied by another man who helped him spray a black substance on her driveway. That substance, however, was not pavement sealer and did not fill in any of the cracks in the women's driveway.
The above pictures were taken at the women's bank where the suspect went to cash the check. He is believed to be driving a red pickup truck with a yellow light on top.
If you see anything suspicious, call the local authorities.
