EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Crews spent about two hours Wednesday evening, putting out a structure fire at Morrill Hall on Michigan State's campus.
The fire sparked around 7:15p.m.
Authorities say the fire started on the roof, and smoke billowed from the building. However, no flames were visible from the ground.
The building is over 100-years-old. MSU has been in the process of demolishing the structure. However, fire crews said no one was in the building when the fire started, and no one was injured.
East Lansing Fire and Meridian Fire put out the flames, along with East Lansing and Michigan State Police.
