Police Continue To Follow Leads for Hit-and-Run Victim


LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Police have corrected the name of the man killed from a hit and run incident Monday night.

Officers say James Thelen, 69, was hit outside of Sparrow Hospital in downtown Lansing while riding his bike.


Lansing Police originally identified the man as Thomas Thelen.

They say they're following up on numerous tips regarding the case. Officers are looking for a blue Chevy Cruze with possible front end damage seen leaving the crime scene.

According to the funeral home's website, a funeral mass will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday at St. Gerard Catholic Church in Lansing.
