Police: 2 MSU Students Sexually Assaulted


EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - East Lansing Police are looking for a man they believe sexually assaulted two Michigan State University students and attempted to assault a third.



The most recent incident happened around 8:30p.m. Thursday in the parking lot of Abbott Pointe Apartments, off Abbot Road. Police say the man dragged the woman behind a dumpster, then physically and sexually assaulter her.


Two similar cases happened in late April, one on Coolidge Road off Lake Lansing and an attempted assault in the 300 block of Charles Street.

All three were MSU students.


Police say the suspect is a white man, about 5'5" to 5'10", 18 to 25 years old. He was wearing a faded red or pink shirt and shorts with bright green shoes.

"We're throwing every resource we have at it right now," said Lt. Scott Wriggelsworth with East Lansing Police.
