Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Holds Forum

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce held a forum Monday to talk about their vision for the area.

Local business leaders and politicians were there to weigh in on how they see the future of the Lansing area shaping up and learn what they and others can do to help make their vision come true.

"There's a lot of times these local officials don't have a chance to interact with each other so we thought bringing them to the chamber would give them an opportunity to hear form each other, to talk about those things we can collaberate on, to talk a little bit about what the challenges are, how can we meet those challenges and work together for the betterment of the business community and see if we can find some common ground on economic development and growth in the community," said Kristin Beltzer, the senior vice president of Government Relations and Public Affairs.

The Lansing Chamber of Commerce works to help promote pro-business and pro-growth policies in state and local governments.
