Prices jump 30, 40 cents a gallon
Michigan State Police and the Department of Corrections are investigating after an employee was beaten up at a Jackson prison.
It happened at the G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility on Wednesday night.
A Corrections spokesperson says a woman who works as a physician's assistant was found disoriented but conscious in a a closet.
She was taken to Allegiance Hospital and released on Thursday.
Detectives are interviewing inmates and employees, but have not identified any suspects.
