Court Case Adjourned for Highway Shooter

The man known as the I-96 shooter was back in court today but not for long.

Raulie Casteel's pre-trial hearing was rescheduled again for August 16th.

Defense attorney Douglas Mulkoff requested more time to conduct an independent psychological evaluation to see if Casteel was competent to stand trial.

He faces 60 charges in Oakland County in connection with 24 shootings. Three of those are in Livingston County while the rest are in Ingham, Oakland and Shiawassee counties.

Defense attorneys say Casteel is married with no criminal history and has been diagnosed as having a delusional disorder.
