Two Arrested Following Fight, Shots Fired

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- A fight on Lansing's south side resulted in shots fired and two suspects in custody.

The fight happened around 3:30 Sunday afternoon at a Speedwagon on the corner of S. Washington and Barnes.

Police said shots were fired, but no one was injured.

A witness tells 6 News, two men tried to breakup a fight between two women. At that point, one of the men pulled out, what the witness called, an army style gun.

The man fired two shots to the ground.

The suspects fled the scene, but police tracked them down with the help of a K-9 Unit.

Police said they have a 27-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman in custody.

Police said the suspects are expected to be arraigned tomorrow.
