Teens In Hospital After Car Accident

Three Mid-Michigan teenagers were rushed to the hospital Tuesday night after their car hit a tree.

It happened just before 11 P.M. on South Lowell Road in Watertown Township.

A 17-year-old passenger from Lansing is being treated for life threatening injuries and is listed in critical condition.

The 17-year-old driver and a 16-year-old passenger both from Grand Ledge are also being treated at Sparrow Hospital.

The Clinton County Sheriff officials say the driver swerved to avoid an animal and lost control. They also say speed may have been a factor.
