LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Lansing police say a woman in her early 20s was assaulted at a home in the 1300 block of Knollwood on Monday.

Officials say they were called to the home around 5:30 Monday morning, and were back on the scene again close to noon.

A tactical team went into the home with guns drawn. About a dozen police officers were also on the scene. Police were heard over loudspeakers ordering someone to come out with their hands up.

Officials say they have not named any suspects, but say they are questioning two people in connection with the incident.

The extent of the victim's injuries is not known. Police say she was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
