Jackson County Fair Hosts First Countrypalooza

Today hundreds of music fans soaked up the sun at the first countrypalooza at the Jackson County Fair.

The event follows two days of Rockapalooza.

The festival featured fourteen acts on three stages, and along with great music, the festival had face painting and wrestlers.

The event is just a test run for festival owners who expect it to become very popular in the net couple years.

"I think in four or five years this thing could be, we could probably move rockapalooza to Sunday and country to Saturday, I kinda see it going that way," said Tim Corser, owner of Rockapalooza/Countrypalooza.

Countrypalooza featured local and regional talent along with up-and-coming talent including Hellbound Glory that was on tour with Kid Rock.
