Homicide Victim Has Been Identified



LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)- The victim from a shooting in Lansing Tuesday night has been identified as 35-year-old Anthony Karlton Kye from Lansing.

Officials don't believe that it was random, and the shooting is still under investigation.




LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Police are investigating a shooting in Lansing that took one mans life.

The shooting happened shortly after midnight Wednesday, on the 600 block of Pine Street.

Police say the victim was a 35-year-old Lansing man. He was not inside a home when he was shot, but rather on the street. He was transported by emergency responders to a local hospital and was pronounced dead.

Police are asking any witnesses of this crime to contact the Lansing Police at (517)483-6842.
