Registered Sex Offender Found Guilty Again

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)- A registered sex offender has been found guilty of 10 counts of sexually assaulting children in Lansing.

According to the Ingham County Prosecutor's office, 31-year-old Timothy Bywater, from Lansing, is being convicted of crimes that happened between March and July of 2012.

The county says the victims range from 5-years-old to 9-years-old and say they were assaulted at various locations including a local church, a neighborhood and a public library.

Bywater has previously spent 10 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 3-year-old child.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 17, and faces up to life in prison.
