Gas Prices Drop For Holiday Week

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)- Michigan drivers are seeing some relief at the pump as we head into the holiday week.

According to the experts at gas-buddy, the price of a gallon of regular unleaded dropped by more than $0.16 in the past week. It's also down more than $0.63 in the past month.

Now both mid-Michigan and the nation are averaging a price of about $3.50 a gallon.

Although the holiday is coming up, those experts say the average is likely to fall this week as the price of wholesale gas goes down.
