Guilty Plea For Providing Gun To Felon

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WLNS)- One man has pleaded guilty to giving a convicted felon a semiautomatic gun that was used to kill seven people in July of 2011.

35-Year-Old Grand Rapids man, Michael James Allen, gave his Glock 9mm semiautomatic pistol to Roderic Dantzler, knowing that he was a convicted felon.

Officials tell us that Dantzler committed suicide after killing seven people, two being children, led police on a high-speed chase through a congested area, and shot off rounds at officers.

A sentencing hearing for Allen has not yet been scheduled.
