St. Louis Sings The Blues For Annual Festival

St. Louis is singing the blues as they host their 7th annual blues festival.

The celebration offers great music, food, a carnival, and fireworks to top off the night.

Some of the performers that will be there include Greg Nagy, The Gem Tones with Natalie Ann, and Chris O'Leary, just to name a few.

St. Louis about an hour north of Lansing and festival officials say many people travel far and wide for the event.

"We've got people from most parts of the state," said Phil Hansen, downtown development and economic development director for the city of St. Louis. "Being in the middle of the lower peninsula, its only a couple of hours to just about anywhere. And this type of music seems to draw people from a long ways away."

The festival kicked off yesterday and goes until 10 p.m. tonight.
