Suspect Accused Of Shooting 13-Year-Old Faces Judge

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS)- The case against the man accused of unintentionally shooting a 13-year-old girl will go to circuit court.

Police say 20-year-old Deangelo King was in an argument with a group of people, when King fired a gun.

While he didn't hit any of his intended targets, a bullet did hit 13-year-old Jendaya Bailey in the chest while she was walking on a nearby sidewalk.

King is charged with assualt with intent to murder, possession of a firearm by a felon and felony firearms.
