Suspects Arrested For CarJacking

DELTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS)- Two suspects have been arrested in Eaton County accused of a carjacking on the fourth of July.

17-Year-Old Landon Morris of Lansing was arrested shortly after the vehicle was taken at the Westfield Club Apartment complex in Delta Township. Morris is facing charges of carjacking, armed robbery, and resisting and obstructing police. His bond was set at $100,000, but remains in the Eaton County jail.

The other suspect in the carjacking was arrested Tuesday near Ypsilanti by the Michigan State Police Fugitive Team. 22-Year-Old James Nash, of Ypsilanti, now faces charges of carjacking, armed robbery, unlawful driving away of an automobile, fleeing and eluding, and resisting and obstructing police.

The vehicle was found shortly after the incident, and both suspects are sitting in the Eaton County jail since their arraignment.
