Volunteers Give A Sneak Preview of Annual Hot Air Jubilee

It's been flying high in Jackson for the last 30 years.

Thursday we got a sneak preview of what the 31st annual Hot Air Jubilee in Jackson will look like.

It's scheduled to lift off Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 19,20,21st at 6:30 am and 6:30 PM.

Over 200 volunteers are coming together to help put on the three day event featuring 22 hot air balloons that will take to the sky.

While they take to the sky you can enjoy carnival games, craft booths and a car and tractor show.

Vice Chair Andy Merritt says if you never attended, it's worth the price of admission, free!

"If you've never seen hot air balloons go up, especially in a group, it's one thing to see one balloon or two balloons in the air, but to see 20 all at once, I think there is something inspiring about it and it lifts the spirits it's fun, and then the event around it itself." Andy Merritt said.
