Jackson To Vote On Fireworks Ordinance

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS)- The Jackson City Council is expected to vote on and pass a new fireworks ordinance.

The new ordinance will restrict the use of fireworks as much as Michigan law allows. If passed, it will take affect after 30 days.

When that happens, on the day before, the day of, and the day after a holiday, fireworks will only be permitted between 8 A.M. and 1 A.M..
