Man Arrested in Connection to Quality Dairy Break In

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - One man is behind bars after an early morning break-in at a Quality Dairy.

It happened around 3a.m. Wednesday on N. Pine St.

Police arrived to find the store's window smashed in with a brick and missing items from inside. An employee and police reviewed security camera footage and got a description and direction of the suspect.

A nearby officer saw a man matching the description in a nearby area. When he was approached, the man ran away. A K-9 unit was dispatched and found him on the porch in the 900 block of W. Oakland.

Jermaine Kenyate Haynes, 29, was arrested and charged with with breaking and entering as a habitual offender

He's being held on $15,000 bond. Haynes is expected back in court next week.
