Police Need Help To Identify Suspects In Scam

HOWELL, Mich. (WLNS)- Police need help to identify three suspects in a series of scam's in Howell.

Livingston County Sheriff's officials are calling it a quick change scam where the suspects got away with $175. AJ's Mart on Highland Road and USA2Go on Latson Road were both victims on the scam.

The first suspect is described as a male in his 30's to 40's wearing multi-colored shorts, a black polo shirt, and a black bandana or hat.

The second person officials are trying to identify is a female who did not play a part in the scam, but was seen in exiting the same vehicle the suspect did. She is described as a light skinned black or white female with a heavy build, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

A third unknown subject was driving the suspect vehicle but never exited for a description.

Officials say the suspects vehicle is a silver Chrysler PT Cruiser and attempted to use this scam on two other businesses in the area but did not succeed.
