Lansing Fire Department Puts Out House Fire

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Fast action by Lansing firefighters saved one man's home Friday night.

Fire officials said flames sparked around 9 p.m. Friday on the 1300 block of Pulaski.

They said no one was home at the time, but a neighbor saw flames coming out of the back of the house and called 9-1-1.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out in just 16 minutes.

The man who lives there is displaced tonight; however, only temporarily. Officials said the house can be repaired.

The cause of that fire is under investigation.
