Mom In Court For Parental Rights After Children Burned By Boyfriend

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The mother of the children who were put into scalding hot water is in court Tuesday.

Bridget Marks is fighting to keep parental rights to her three children, two of whom are currently in foster care.

The three children were forced into scalding hot water by her boyfriend at the time, Daniel Ronquillo. He was sentenced earlier in the month to up to 15 years in prison for deliberately putting the children in scalding hot water.

The children suffered third degree burns.
