Police Arrest 2 in Jewelry Store Robbery

LANSING TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) - Police are still investigating an armed robbery that happened Tuesday afternoon at a jewelry store near Frandor.

It happened around 2p.m. Tuesday at Azzi Jewelers off Saginaw and Homer in Lansing.

They say two people entered the store, displayed a gun and got a way with an undisclosed amount of money.

Having been given a strong description of the suspects, police were able to trace those two men to a nearby apartment complex, Trappers Cove, and took them into custody.

No one was injured and no shots were fired.

The men could be arraigned as quickly as Wednesday.

The incident remains under investigation.
