Mid-Michigan Man Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Charges

An Ionia County man faces between 15 and 60 years behind bars after pleading guilty to child porn charges on Wednesday.

Federal prosecutors say Floyd Andrew Brown, Jr. admitted to sexually abusing young girls and making child porn at his home in Lyons.

The 35-year-old also admitted to possession of child pornography.

Police arrested Brown in December of last year.

After his prison term, Brown will go on probation and be required to join the sexual offender registry.

Brown was busted as part of a program called Project Safe Childhood, which is a joint project of local and federal officials across the nation designed to try and keep kids safe when they're online.
