Teenager Recovering After Shooting

Police say an 18-year-old Lansing man will survive after being shot several times overnight.

It happened just before 1 a.m. near the intersection of E. Saginaw and Prudden Place.

Officers responded to a call to find the man laying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to his head, body, and arm. He was taken to a local hospital.

Police believe whoever shot the teenager robbed him first.

The suspect is a black man with a dark complexion. He's about 20-years-old and stands just shy of 6 feet tall. He has a heavy build and was wearing a red shirt and dark jeans.

He's considered armed and dangerous, so if you see him, police say you should not approach him.
