INGHAM COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) -- Two Saturday night motorcycle accidents send the drivers to the hospital.
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office reports the first accident happened at 9:10 p.m. Saturday at M-52 and Swan Road in White Oak Township.
There, officials say a full size van, traveling northbound on M-52, turned left in front of a motorcycle traveling southbound. The motorcycle and the van collided, causing the motorcycle driver significant injury.
Officials say the victim, Robert Finch, 42, of Grass Lake, was taken to Sparrow Hospital where he is in critical condition.
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office reports the second accident happened at 10:10 p.m. Saturday on westbound I-96 over M-52 in Leroy Township.
A witness traveling behind the motorcyclist told police the driver lost control of the motorcycle and fell from it while passing over the M-52 bridge.
Officials say the driver, Kenneth Cinader, 50, of Centerline, hit the road and guardrail, causing significant injury. He was taken to Sparrow Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Officials say neither motorcycle drivers were wearing helmets.
Both accidents remain under investigation by the Ingham County Sheriff's Office.
