East Kentwood 16-Grand Ledge 14

Pick it up in the 4th quarter, East Kentwood up 9 to 7 with the ball. Kyle Fry-Burg connects with junior Chase Snyder stays inbounds for the score--that makes it a two possession game.

Very next, the Comets drive it all the way down the field--that sets up a one yard TD. Joseph Reverman pounds it in for the score, the Ledge down by 2.

The Comets need the ball back--they try the onsides kick--recovered by East Kentwood and that would do it.

Grand Ledge goes down in the home opener 16 to 14, but Coach Matt Bird says the Comets will bounce back from this.
