Plastic Discovered In Great Lakes

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Researchers say they have found tiny traces of plastic in all of the Great Lakes.

Last year the microscopic particles were found in Lake Superior and Lake Erie, but research in 2013 turned-up small concentrations in Lakes Michigan and Ontario. Lake Erie is said to contain the most plastic likely because the particles float down-stream from the upper lakes.
