Spartan Stadium Gets Evacuated During Home Opener

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Spartan Stadium was evacuated Friday night after a storm quickly rolled through East Lansing.

Lightning struck around 9p.m. and officials evacuated the stadium mid-way through the second quarter.

Fans were let back in around 9:45p.m. and the game kicked off at 10p.m.

Spartans played Western Michigan University as the home opener.
