Missing Runaway Teens Found Safe

ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) -- Two Michigan teens have been found safe nearly two weeks after they ran away from their homes.

Police say they found Braxton Wood, 14, and Jayden Thomas, 13, around 9 a.m. Sunday after the two ran away from their Isabella County homes Aug. 26.

The Isabella County Sheriff's Department says a person spotted the 2005 black Ford Explorer in a parking lot Sunday and called the Chicago Police Department.

There, police found both Jayden and Braxton safe inside the SUV. The teens will be brought back to Michigan Sunday.

Police say the teens are scheduled for a hearing in Probate Court Monday morning at 11.
