MASON COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) - Prosecutors in Mason County filed charges Wednesday against Sarah and Eric Knysz.

They're the couple who police say were involved in the shooting death of Michigan State Trooper Paul Butterfield.

In a Facebook photo of the couple, you can see Sarah is pregnant. She was charged with being an "accessory after the fact" in Butterfield's killing. She also faces a charge of unlawfully driving away from the scene.

If convicted, she could face up to five years on each count.

A judge set her bond at a quarter of a million dollars.

Eric is expected to be arraigned in court on Thursday.
