Investigators Determine Cause Of Oakhill Fire

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Investigators have confirmed the cause of the fire that forced 29 Michigan State University students out of their homes earlier in September.

It happened on the 200 block of Oakhill Avenue around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4. Fireworks launched from the roof turned out to be the cause. The fireworks put a 6-foot hole in the roof and severly damaged six rooms inside.
