Gunshot Fired Toward Home Nearly Hits Sleeping Baby

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - An early morning string of gunshots nearly hit a sleeping baby in its crib.

Sgt. Pace from the Lansing Police Department said around 3:20 a.m. police received multiple calls from people who heard gunshots on the 1700 block of Linval.

There, police found a home had been shot at least twice. One of the fired bullets had hit a baby's crib while the baby was sleeping inside.

No one was hurt.

Police don't believe the homeowners were the intended targets because they just recently moved into their home.
