UPDATE (2:45 p.m.): Devon Morrison's body has been found in the Flat River. Devon was a fifth-grader at Woodview Elementary School.

BELDING, Mich. (WLNS) - Police are calling the disappearance of a 10-year-old western Michigan boy suspicious. The 10-year-old boy, Devon Morrison was last seen on Saturday, September 14 heading toward the Flat River in Belding, with a fishing pole in hand.

The FBI has joined the search with dive teams in the water. Police helicopters have been surveying the area. A pair of shoes were found in the river and Devon's family is pretty sure they belong to him. The Belding Police Chief says his department is treating the boy's disappearance as a possible crime.
