JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - Officers were called to the scene of a marijuana argument that resulted in a shooting Monday night.

It happened at the 900 block of Russell Street around 7 p.m. Monday. Police believe the men were arguing over a marijuana deal when a 20-year-old Jackson man pulled out a gun and ended up shooting a 37-year-old Albion man in the head. The bullet grazed the man's head. The two were struggling at the time when the Albion man got a hold of the gun, then shot the Jackson man in the torso multiple times.

Both men were treated at Allegiance Health and the 20-year-old Jackson man was later taken to U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor where he is in critical condition.

Police are still investigating the shooting.
