New Hunting And Fishing License Fee

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Hunters and anglers don't typically mind the temperatures, but they might mind an increase in hunting and fishing fees. Prices are going up and Governor Rick Snyder is expected to sign a bill Tuesday dealing with Michigan's natural resources. Part of it will include those increases.

The new bill requires someone to buy a base hunting license with the option to purchase more licenses for species like deer, turkey and wolves. Fees will increase when the new plan starts on March 1, 2014.
