Group Launches Campaign To Raise Michigan's Minimum Wage

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Michigan United Members are gathering Wednesday at the city hall to launch a campaign that will raise Michigan's minimum wage. The group says Michigan families need to be protected and say anyone working full time should not be living below the poverty line.

"This is a win-win situation. You know it is good for everybody, it's good for business, it's good for the economy, it's good for the workers so we hope that our state legislatures realize that and we hope that we get their support," said Adonis Flores, Michigan United.
