Wrecking Ball Sculpture Removed At GVSU Due To People Imitating Miley Cyrus

Posted: Updated:

ALLENDALE, Mich. (WLNS) - Students at Grand Valley State University in Allendale aren't happy about a recent sculpture that was removed yesterday due to people imitating the popular Miley Cyrus song, "Wrecking Ball."

The sculpture was taken down and placed in storage due to safety concerns as people try to ride the art piece. Artist Dale Eldred created the sculpture in 1973 and now all that remains is a sign of where it used to stand.
