Governor Snyder Declines Speed Limit Increase

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Given a chance to endorse a new 80 mile per hour freeway speed limit, Governor Rick Snyder declined.

After appearing at an East Lansing conference Wednesday, the Governor said this freeway issue deserves some serious review.

6 News has also learned that the Michigan State Police are opposed to the higher limits.
