At a big game with Holt and Lansing Everett, that is where our Dean Trailways 5th Quarter bus went on Friday.

Everett quarterback Lucas Barner needed a ride after suffering a shoulder injury in the first half.

Everett was down 21-7 in the third, but the Vikings came back to life with a punt return touchdown. Backup quarterback Rhett Blackman went deep to Leondre Terry. 14 unanswered points, and a tie game, 21-21.

But the Rams hit back with Ty glover, and Everett didn't have an answer. An impressive night for the Holt running back, who tacked on a touchdown to make it 28-21.

On the ensuing kickoff, the Rams tried a squib kick and the ball bounced their way with a Holt recovery.

That led to a Holt field goal, 31-21.

Everett tried to cut the lead, and DeAndre Taylor got loose takign one all the way to the house. But wait a second.

A Holding penalty called against Everett.

And on the next play, Vikings lost the ball again.

The Rams recovered and held off a second half comeback by Everett, 31-21. Revenge for Al Slammer and the Rams, after a painful home loss to the Vikings last season.
