DeWitt 43 - Ionia 7

Rob Zimmerman has another powerhouse at DeWitt this year as they face Ionia.

In the third quarter, Ionia had its first opportunity of the second half to make a play and Austin Gregory did that. DeWitt's Cameron Cleminson sacked him in the endzone, and the Panthers collected a safety to extend their lead 29-7.

On the Panther's next possession, Jacob Johnson handed off to his favorite running back Ben Heinritz, and this guy was a beast. No one could take him down, as he hopped right in for one of his two touchdowns on the night, and he finished with 9 carries for 100 yards. Panthers were up 36-7.

To the fourth quarter, Jacob Heath got some playing time for DeWitt and tried to make the most of it, conencting with Raymond Stein. But Ionia's Brian Wiles came in, and BAM!

A good hit for him, but it was going to take a lot more than that to stop the Panthers offense, as DeWitt won big, 43-7. They are still undefeated this season.
