GREEN OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) - The Livingston Community Water Authority has issued a water advisory for all Saxony, Wilmore and Meadows subdivision residents and Green Oak Charter Township utilizing the Livingston Community Water Authority System.

Due to a water main break and system shut down, residents are advised to boil water for 72 hours or until the county sends out a notice. Around 12 p.m. Tuesday the water system was shut down.

The water system main break is located on Marlow Street, west of Whitmore Lake Road. The repair to the water system was scheduled and the county will also be repairing a fire hydrant and a broken water main.
