Posted: Updated:

GRAND LEDGE, Mich. (WLNS) - Police in Grand Ledge are looking for any tips that can lead them to a driver responsible for a hit and run.

The accident put two people in the hospital. It happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Police say a woman was headed east on M-43 when her motorcycle was hit by a car. Officials say the car didn't stop, instead it did a 180 turn and took off west on Saginaw Highway.

Another motorcyclist went after the driver until police say the car ran him off the road. Police believe the vehicle is a black four-door sports car with possible front and back passenger side damage. There may also be damage to a window.

If you have any information, call the Grand Ledge Police at (517) 627-2115.
