We started in the CAAC Blue division, where the Holt Rams traveled to East Lansing. Both squads undefeated at 2-0 in conference play. Let the battle on the gridiron begin.
In the third quarter. East lansing was up 14-7 until Eric Potter chucked a 40-yard, and it landed right in the hands of Romeell Dozier. He even showed us he had it. Just like that, the Rams tied the game at 14.
1:15 remained in the third Potter threw it up again. Guess who? No other than Dzier. Rams took the lead 21-14.
East Lansing fought back on their home turf. In the fourth, Reece Piotter handed off to Faymous Tyra. He was in the endzone baby, and the game was tied back up at 21, which sent this game into overtime.
The Trojans passed on 4th-and-goal, and was broken up to give the Rams the ball. Collin Klisch attempted a 20-yard field goal for the win, and it was good.
The Rams defeated the Trojans 24-21 in overtime, and are now 3-0 in the Blue.
