Police Investigating Merit Bank Robbery

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - The Jackson Police are investigating a Wednesday morning bank robbery at First Merit Bank.

It happened around 11:10 a.m. on Wednesday on the 1700 block of E. Michigan Avenue.

A man walked into the bank and passed a note to an employee, demanding money. Once he had the money, the suspect ran outside and got into a gray station wagon, driven by a white man. The vehicle left the area driving northbound. 

The suspect is a white male, middle aged, unshaven, approximately 5'5 - 5'9, thin build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, sunglasses, white shirt with blue sleeves and "AERO" printed on the front, blue jeans and white shoes.
