Police Arrest Man For Robbing First Merit Bank

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - Jackson Police arrested a suspect for the robbery of First Merit Bank.

It happened around 11:10 a.m. on Wednesday on the 1700 block of E. Michigan Avenue.

Detectives got an anonymous tip Thursday that helped them identify a 46-year-old suspect. Police arrested him in his Napoleon home with no issues.

He's currently behind bars at Jackson County Jail and formal charges will come soon from the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office.
