Police Searching For Fifth Third Bank Robber

CHARLOTTE, Mich. (WLNS) - Police are searching for a man who robbed Fifth Third bank on Wednesday afternoon.

It happened at 12:13 p.m. on the 300 block of Lansing Street in Charlotte. Police say the man walked into the bank, demanded money and indicated there was a weapon, but never showed any weapon.

The suspect is a white male, 6'3", 180 pounds with light brown hair. He was wearing light blue jeans, dark blue tennis shoes and a multi-striped sweater. The man's vehicle is a black sedan with a white registration plate.

Once the suspect got cash, he ran from the bank south through the Carquest business lot and drove off in the car eastbound on Island Highway. He was last seen near Island and Hartel Road.

No one was injured as a result of the robbery.
