LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - CrimeStoppers of Mid-Michigan is asking for the public's help with two requests for information in recent cases.
On Weds Aug 14, 2013 officers responded to a possible home invasion occurring at a residence in the 500 block of S. Pennsylvania. Upon arrival officers discovered that the home invasion case was now a homicide case.
Multiple persons broke into the residence in order to steal property. During the attempted robbery 19-year-old Giovanni Yeje was shot and killed.

Late in the evening on Monday May 13th, 2013 officers were dispatched to Pennsylvania and
Michigan on a personal injury accident. Upon their arrival they discovered it was a hit and run.
The suspect vehicle stopped for a moment and then left east bound from the scene. Due to multiple injuries, the victim was unresponsive and immediately transported to Sparrow where he later died. Witnesses reported the vehicle involved is a Newer Light Blue Chevy Cruize or similar vehicle. The vehicle probably will have significant front end damage.
New information indicates that the car was possibly driven by a dark man with a dark woman passenger that gazed out at the accident while the vehicle left the scene.
